Who we are

Excellent Health for Africa Initiative

(Exhela Initiative) is a registered and recognized non-profit organization that focuses on addressing social determinants of health, bridging the gap in healthcare eradicating health issues in Africa, through education, medical outreaches and providing access to healthcare services. We work in line with the United Nations SDG3 to ensure good health and wellbeing in Africa.

What do we do?

We help transform the lives of poorest children and families in African countries. Our community-development approach to ending poverty includes: Nutrition, safe drinking water, education, economic opportunity, disaster response, and empowering women. We help all people, regardless of their religious beliefs, gender, race, or ethnicity.

How are my donation used?

We promise to use your donation in the most effective way possible. Donations will provide assistance where it’s needed most within that category, or to address a similar need. With the larger items, such as wells, clinics, and schools, World Vision pools donations in order to provide as many wells, clinics, and schools as possible. These items are not matched to individual donors.

Is it safe to provide my credit card data?

Yes, it’s completely safe. We do not store your Credit Card information and our website is SSL secured. This means your payment is encrypted and cannot be hijacked by attackers.

Will I recieve a receipt for my donations and is it tax-deductible?

Yes, we’ll mail you a receipt for your donations. Your donations are not taxed.
